The Shelves
Yes. Once again. The shelves.
Let me refresh your memory.
A couple of weeks ago I updated about rearranging my shelves and only showed you one set. Well, I FINALLY got the other side to an acceptable (still not perfect) state.
I had to live with it and feel it out for a couple of weeks but now I'm satisfied enough to share with you all.
My favorite vignettes from this batch:
White on white on white - includes cupcake crane toppers, ceramic vintage New York milk bottles (wedding gift from Liz), and an artichoke votive candle holder.
Holga, honeymoon polaroids, toy Datsun 280z's (from Jeremy when we first started dating - placeholders until I get the real deal), photos of Jeremy's side of the family including his grandma looking sassy in a bathing suit.
So while the other shelves hold more colorful books and are a little more visually appealing to me, these shelves hold memories - so I can't help but love them.

Beautiful! The toy Datsuns as placeholders made me giggle. I love the white on white too.
My parents had a Datsun when I was little!! It was so cute, white with blue interior. They didn't sell it until I was probably 8 or 9.
I really love your shelves. Out of curiosity, what does the wall they are in look like together in one photo? I have a hard time visualizing things and I'm wondering about how balanced they look (maybe that's not important?). I wonder what it would look like if you put books on the bottom two or three shelves of each set, and put memory things on the top three shelves of each set.
That's a great clock in the second photo! It offers a nice juxtaposition with the milk bottles.
Just stopping by to say hi and to let you know I'm reading. Your blog is very nice!
i love your wooden artist doll thingy...i forgot what they are called, but i heart mine and i got it at IKEA :) love the white on white too.
